C L A S S E S - Overview
The Ozark School offers many different classes in many areas of blacksmithing. Classes from Basic Blacksmithing, Forge Welding, Power Hammer Techniques, Scrolls and Joinery, Coppersmithing, and Striking. Teaching a variety of different classes requires the knowledge of some of the best blacksmiths in the world.
In the workshop are twelve seperate forging stations. All are equiped with the same quality tools that the teacher uses. Everything the student will possibly need during their stay such as hammers, tongs, chisels, drifts, bending tools, swage blocks, etc., is provided by the school. Classes are sized so that each student will get plenty of one on one interaction with
the teacher and go away with a better understanding of how to manipulate metal.
Teachers Include: Bob Patrick, Tsur Sadan, Bill Bastas, Phil Cox, Joe Davis, and Tom Clark.
Courses usually last five days, but the knowledge the student leaves with will
last a lifetime.
Note: As was previously mentioned, we provide all the tools and materials a student will need while
here at the school. There are, however, two things we do ask students to bring, and they
are:
safety glasses (required) and gloves (recommended).
